Contact: Webster County Health Department
Program Information: The Senior Health Program is available to seniors 60 years of age and older. Under this program, health education, screenings and foot clinics are available. Our foot (toenail) clinics are completed by a registered nurse from the Health Department and are conducted in senior housing complexes (Deer Creek, Northridge and Garden Village). At these clinics, the nurse is able to provide blood pressure screenings as well.
The Webster County Health Department also provides physical assessments for the Foster Grandparent Program. These physical assessments include testing blood glucose level, total cholesterol, hemoglobin and a urinalysis. A general assessment is also completed which includes taking vital signs. Physician referrals are made if any abnormality is noted. Educational hand-touts are also available.
