Regular Meeting

October 2, 2001

 

The Board of Supervisor met in Session on the above date with the following members present: Magnusson, Condon, Peterson and Chairperson Kirkberg. Absent:  O’Farrell.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Peterson to approve minutes of meeting September 25, 2001. Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to receive and place on file Drainage Repair in D.D. #247 Webster and #7 Humboldt.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Magnusson to approve salary increase for David Stone to $8.24 per hour, effective October 3, per recommendation of Dick Holst.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Peterson to approve and authorize Chair to sign First Quarter Water Well Grant Report for Fiscal Year 2001-2002. (Copy on file in Auditor’s office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to receive and place on file the following appointments to the Webster County Compensation Board:  Shari Fitzgerald, Auditor’s representative; Ernest Kersten, Sheriff’s representative; and Lois Dencklau, Board of Supervisors’ representative.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Magnusson to approve and authorize Chair to sign Utility Permit Applications for Media Com for installation of new CATV/Fiber Optic lines in Moorland, Savage Addition, Westwood Acres/Deerwood, American Legion Area, Lakewood, Coalville/Kalo at various locations. (Copies on file in Engineer’s Office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Peterson to review/approve and authorize signature of Construction Easement Agreement for Project BROS-CO94(43)—8J-94 with Emil E. Kolesar.(Copy on file in Engineer’s office). Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to approve and authorize signature of Construction and Maintenance Agreement with the Town of Harcourt, Iowa.  (Copy on file in Engineer’s office).  Motion carried unanimously.
