The Board of Supervisor met in Session on the above date with the following members present: O’Farrell, Peterson, Condon, Kirkberg and Chairperson Magnusson.

 

Moved by O’Farrell, seconded by Peterson to approve minutes of January 8, 2002 meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to receive and place on file the following Drainage Repairs:  D.D.#37 and D.D.#70 Webster & #95 Calhoun.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Kirkberg to receive and place on file Sheriff’s Report of Fees Collected for period ending December 31, 2001.  (Copy on file in Auditor’s Office).  Motion carried  unanimously.

 

Moved by Kirkberg, seconded by O’Farrell to receive and place on file Recorder’s Report of Fees Collected for period ending December 31, 2001.  (Copy on file in Auditor’s Office).  Motion carried  unanimously.

 

Moved by O’Farrell, seconded by Peterson to approve Family Medical Leave for Matt Girdley, effective January 9, 2002 to January 22, 2002.  (Copy on file in Auditor’s Office).  Motion carried  unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to approve Class C Beer Permit/Sunday Sales Application for BB’s Country Store.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Kirkberg to table Grand Jury Report of Webster County Jail, until complete report is filed.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Kirkberg, seconded by O’Farrell to approve salary increase for Robert Martin to $l0.30 per hour, effective January 21, 2002.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by O’Farrell, seconded by Peterson to approve Clerk’s Salary Schedule for Fiscal Year 2003.

 

The salary schedule for Clerks/Secretaries is based on the FY 2002 salary average of

Auditor, Recorder and Treasurer, which is

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to transfer from General Basic the amount of $118,776.33 and Rural Basic Funds the amount of $922,346.85 to Secondary Road Fund per Fiscal Year 2002 Budget.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Kirkberg to approve transfer from General Basic to Conservation Trust Fund in the amount of $17,410.00.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Kirkberg, seconded by O’Farrell to allow claims.  Motion carried unanimously.
