Regular Meeting

November 5, 2002

 

The Board of Supervisor met in Session on the above date with the following members present: O’Farrell, Peterson, Condon, Kirkberg and Chairperson Magnusson.

 

Moved by O’Farrell, seconded by Peterson to approve minutes of October 29, 2002 meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to receive and place on file Drainage Repairs in D.D.#16 Webster #31 Calhoun, Lateral 2.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Kirkberg to approve and authorize Chair to sign the following Resolution

 

RESOLUTION

 

Motion by Condon, Seconded by Kirkberg to authorize temporary closure of the following Secondary Road:

 

                Township:             Washington

                Section:                  Between 2 and 3

Address:                                220th and Brushy Creek Road

Closed:                   October 31, 2002 for 2 days

Time:                      7:30 a.m.

Reason:                  Railroad Upgrade

Closed:                   Tuesday, November 5 for approximately 4 days

Reason:                  Railroad Crossing Repairs

Moved by O’Farrell, seconded by Peterson to approve Preliminary Plat Freedom Subdivision in Elkhorn Township Section 3, with the following exceptions:  Developer may start construction of improvements after preliminary plat approval; however developer must obtain a performance bond to meet County requirements before construction can start; and Developer must meet the city of Fort Dodge requirement for seven inch P.C.C. and six inch road stone for paved roads within subdivision.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to allow claims.  Motion carried unanimously.
