Moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to approve Secondary Road transfer per Fiscal Year 2002-2003 Budget , from General Basic in the amount of $102,996.95 and Rural Basic Funds in the amount of $571,493.94, plus an addition $18,383.80 if fund balance allows, due to the storage from the General Basic Fund.per Fiscal Year 2002-2003 Budget.Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Magnusson to adopt the Webster County Policy regarding Financial Reporting, effective upon adoption.(Copy on file in Auditorís office).Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Condon to approve bond for Nels Pederson Company, Inc. for septic/sewer installation.Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Gill to approve Cigarette Permit for Back to Basics Country Store for fiscal year 2004.Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to approve Memorandum of Agreement between State of Iowa Judicial Department, Webster County Board of Supervisors and Debra S. Raymond, as Mental Health Advocate for Webster County, Iowa.(Copy on file in Auditorís office).Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Magnusson to approve and authorize Chair to sign utility permit application from Frontier Communications to bury approximately 840 feet of telecommunication cable along the east side of Nelson Avenue (Route P56) in Section 5, Cooper Township.(Copy on file in Engineerís office).Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Condon to approve and authorize Chair to sign utility permit application from Frontier Communications to bury approximately 270 feet telecommunication cable along north side of 160th Street in Section 31, BadgerTownship and approximately 1450 feet of telecommunication cable along the east side of Orchard Road in Section 6, Cooper Township.(Copy on file in Engineerís office).Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Gill to approve and authorize Chair to sign utility permit application from Frontier communications to bury approximately 2690 feet of telecommunication cable along Nelson Avenue in Sections 17 and 20, Otho Township.(Copy on file in Engineerís office).Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to approve and authorize Chair to sign utility permit application from Webster-Calhoun Cooperative Telephone Company to bury approximately one mile of telecommunication cable along the west side of national Avenue in Section 18, Badger Township.(Copy on file in Engineerís office).Motion carried unanimously.

At 10:30a.m.a Public Hearing was held on final consideration to amend the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Ordinance Number 024, Ordinance for the Unincorporated Portion of Webster County, Iowa to rezone the following described property from A-1 to A-2:Lot One (1), County Auditorís Taxation Plat of that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 88 North, Range 28 West of the 5th P.M., Webster County, Iowa (Pleasant Valley Township).No objections being heard, it was moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to amend the Comprehensive Land Use Plan to allow said rezone.Roll call vote:Ayes-Peterson, Magnusson, Condon, Gill and Nolting.Nays Ė None.Motion carried unanimously.
