Regular Meeting

February 3, 2004

 

The Board of Supervisor met in Session on the above date with the following members present: Magnusson, Peterson, Condon, Gill and Nolting.

 

Moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to approve minutes of January 27, 2004 meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Peterson to receive and place on file Compensation Board’s Fiscal Year 2004-2005 salary recommendations of the Elected Officials.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Magnusson to receive and place on file Manure Management Plan annual update for Webster Pork, Inc. in Section 22, Webster Township.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Gill to approve and authorize Chair to sign permit application from Hovey Construction to disconnect water main on the south side of 230th Street in the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, Elkhorn Township.  (Copy on file in Engineer’s office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Magnusson to correct the motion to receive and place on file Manure Management Plan annual update for Webster Pork, Inc, by striking Webster Township and inserting Clay Township.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Gregg Hora asked the Board for additional responses to his previous questions. Comments were heard.

 

John Derner, representing the American Legion voiced his concerns regarding the Webster County Veteran’s Commission.  The Board responded to his concerns and noted he may have been misinformed. 

 

Moved and seconded the meeting adjourned.
