Regular Meeting

The Board of Supervisor met in Session on the above date with the following members present: Magnusson, Peterson, Condon, Gill and Nolting.

 

Moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to approve minutes of October 26, 2004 meeting.Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Peterson to receive and place on file the following Drainage Repairs:D.D.#4-272, D.D.#5, D.D.#31, D.D.#69 Lateral 2, D.D.#70-95 and D.D.#253.Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Magnusson to authorize the deposal of used and surplus equipment and miscellaneous fixed assets at a public auction to be held at 10:30a.m. November 9, 2004 at County Shop, 2096 240th Street, Fort Dodge, Iowa.Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Gill to increase Department 002 fiscal year 2004-2005 appropriation $39,375.00, (full appropriation of Auditorís election budget).Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to approve Webster County Board of Health Regulation Number Four, Control of Lead-based Paint Hazards. (Copy on file in Auditorís office).Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Peterson to approve employment of Ladonya Chaney, Part-time employee at the Webster County Jail at the rate of $9.75 per hour effective October 21, 2004.Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Magnusson to approve and authorize Chair to sign resolution to temporarily close Otho Drive from Riverside Trail to City Limits of Otho for pavement repair.Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Gill to approve and authorize Chair to sign utility permit application from the City of Fort Dodge to install 30-inch water main in the county road right of way from the West Corporate Limits of Fort Dodge westerly approximately five and one-half miles to the VeraSun Ethanol Plant in Section 20, Douglas Township.(Copy on file in Engineerís office).Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to allow claims.Motion carried unanimously.
