Regular Meeting

November 9, 2004

 

The Board of Supervisor met in Session on the above date with the following members present: Magnusson, Peterson, Condon, Gill and Nolting.

 

Moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to approve minutes of November 2, 2004 meeting and November 8, 2004 Special Meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Peterson to receive and place on file the following Drainage Repairs:  D.D.#12-38 and  D.D. #197.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Magnusson to approve salary increase of Sarah Livingston to $49,882, effective November 10, 2004.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Peterson to consider property tax abatement on wire grain storage bins owned by Chester and Rita Willhoite.  Motion withdrawn.  Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Peterson to table consideration of property tax abatement on wire grain storage bins owned by Chester and Rita Willhoite.  Ayes – Gill, Magnusson and Condon.  Nays:  Nolting and Peterson.

 

Moved by Gill, seconded by Nolting to approve and authorize Chair to sign letter of support for Low Income Housing Tax Credit Proposed Project in Fort Dodge. Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Peterson to approve and authorize Chair to sign MH/DD provider contracts with, Mosaic, Inc., Psychiatry Associates of Northeast Iowa, P.C. and Howard Center, Inc.  (Copies on file in CPC’s office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

City of Dayton and Webster County Conservation Board discussed Lake Ole.  No action taken.

 

Moved by Magnusson, seconded by Gill to approve the following changes to assistance guidelines of the Webster County Veteran Affairs.

Jane Burleson requested that the Board of Supervisors consider continuing the position of Human Rights Director.  No action taken.
