Regular Meeting
Tuesday June 17, 2008

The Board of Supervisor met in Session on the above date with the following members present: Condon, Dencklau, Lizer, Motl and Nolting.   Absent:  None.

Moved by Condon, seconded by Dencklau to approve minutes of June 10, 2008, regular meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Dencklau, seconded by Motl to receive and place on file the following Drainage Repairs:  D.D#197, D.D.#70 Webster and #95 Calhoun, D.D.#35 Webster and #18 Greene, D.D.#47, D.D.#316, D.D.# 4 Lateral 5, D.D.#1 Lateral 1, D.D.#51, D.D.#195, D.D.#59 Webster and #4 Humboldt, D.D.#247 Webster and #7 Humboldt Lateral 1, D.D.#15 D.D.#253, and D.D.#43.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Motl, seconded by Nolting to receive and place on file termination of Sheriff’s Deputy Curt Ruby.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Condon to approve salary increase of Sheriff’s Deputy Geoff Miller to $38,501.17, effective June 17, 2008.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Condon, seconded by Dencklau to receive and place on file retirement of Alan Wooters, First Deputy Auditor, effective June 16, 2008.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Dencklau, seconded by Motl to approve Northwood’s Living and Ellsworth Hospital MH/DD service provider rates for fiscal year 2009.  (Copies on file in CPC’s office).  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Motl, seconded by Nolting to approve Webster County MH/DD/BI Planning Committee Members for fiscal year 2009.

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Condon to approve deposit of $2,500.00 to Conservation Trust Fund, per donation received from Webster County Bow Hunters and Archery Association for Miller Marsh Project.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Condon, seconded by Dencklau to receive and place on file Manure Management Update Plan for Dave Cramer in Section 34, Dayton Township.  (Copy on file in Auditor’s office).  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Dencklau to table Webster County Travel Policy.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Motl, seconded by Nolting to approve bid for installation of new75 Mil Reinforced fully adhered EPDM roofing system on the outside roof at the Webster County Jail submitted by Johnson Controls in an amount not to exceed $77,343.00 which includes raising air handling units.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Nolting, seconded by Condon to approve and authorize Chair to sign utility permit applications from Prairie Energy Cooperative to replace overhead electrical lines along the east side of Section 15 and the north side of Section 22, Washington Township.  (Copy on file in Engineer’s office).  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Condon, seconded by Dencklau to approve and authorize Chair to sign contract with Vogel Traffic Services, Inc., low bidder for painted pavement markings, in the amount of $116,362.48.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Dencklau, seconded by Motl to approve the following  salary adjustments for non-union engineer’s staff and for non-union road maintenance personnel of Secondary Road Department, effective July 1, 2008:
