The Board discussed the need for issuing general obligation bonds to finance sewer and water over-sizing project for the Webster County Ag/Industrial Park.  The City of Fort Dodge is the service provider for the sewer and water.  Over-sizing the project during the construction phase for CJ America, would give the County the opportunity to position for future growth to the west of C.J. America’s property and the County anticipates being able to recoup the cost from hook up fees in the future.

Moved by Fletcher, seconded by Dencklau to retain services of Ahlers and Cooney as bond counsel to initiate proceeding to bond for up to $1,500,000.00 for the cost of over-sizing sewer and water line at Webster County Ag/Industrial Park.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Dencklau, seconded by Peterson to allow claims.  Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.
